From shields, to wigs, and lasers galore, San Diego ComiCon 2018 brought the most lively crowds and entertainment together. The moment the costume-clad crowds entered the halls, all the time and energy sourcing materials for their cosplay was made worth it.

POPsocial’s roaming photographers were right at the SYFY scene to take snapshots of these event-goers as they saw all their similarly dressed cohorts and compared themselves. The SYFY street team partnered with POPsocial to engage the masses by honoring the most distinctively dressed characters. In a fun, unique take of an awards ceremony, a mobile podium was set up featuring a live marching band, while the comical host gifted mystery boxes with limited-edition custom merchandise.
